"Color Markers to Match Stroke" extension does not respect opacity value

Bug Description
Inkscape version: 0.48.2 r9819
(1) create a line with an arrow head marker at the end,
(2) set stroke colour to anything with opacity not 255,
(3) select Extensions → Modify path → Color markers to match stroke,
(4) observe that the marker gets the right colour, but opacity 255.
An SVG file illustrating the bug is attached.
