I tried using apport but after a while tht gave an Internal Server Error. I tried updating from Firefox but then no idea how much time it would take. I tried looking for some GUI-based archiver which would have data redundancy check built in but could not find it. Hence finally uploaded the whole file at rapidshare.

   Hopefully this one works.

We are going to close this bug report because it looks that it was caused by adobe's flashplugin-nonfree which we can do anything about it, since it is closed source. You might want to report it upstream directly.
