Bug Description
The installer failed to install the distribution.
It can be recreated by attempting to install the distribution.
I think the problem is either a poor interaction between ubiquity and Budgie or a poor implementation of ubiquity.
This issue was found in tech preview 2.
To post a comment you must log in.
The readme says that you need to edit the install icon and prefix "sudo"
"to install budgie-remix in a VM
Right-click the install icon on the desktop and select Properties change the command:
sh -c 'ubiquity gtk_ui'
to:
sudo sh -c 'ubiquity gtk_ui'
Press enter in the command field for the icon to be updated before closing and double clicking on the install icon"
This has been fixed in the upcoming beta 1 release
