make man respond to bzr subcommands

Bug Description

It'd be nice if `man bzr [bzr subcommand]` would display the corresponding section for the command rather than the complete manpage of `bzr`.

No, it wouldn't; man long ago gained general support for subcommands. All you need to do is arrange for there to be suitable text in e.g. /usr/share/man/man1/bzr-branch.1.gz and "man bzr branch" will display it.

Sorry, my bad. The default error message when such a file is not present is misleading. It tries to open the 'bzr' and 'branch' man pages sequentially AFAICT.

That would depend rather a lot on what your goal is. For the purposes of this bug report, though, the answer is probably that the next step on it is for a developer to prepare a fix, and if you aren't a developer then you should do nothing.
