I can't help but think that this would be a Good Thing to have, particularly under the hood in libbrot2 as we press on with more interesting enhancements. However, what it means to test a chaotic system may require some creative thinking...

There's no reason we couldn't unit test the pieces. This might also force me to refactor a bit in the name of testability, which is probably a Good Thing...
