Bug Description
I have run into an issue using Boot-repair [on a HP laptop (Pavilion g7)]. I've burnt a CD with boot-repair and verified the md5 and the burn. I can boot the boot-repair CD if I set the laptop to legacy, non-secure mode, but if I set it to UEFI boot (with secure boot still off), then the CD is ignored by the laptop.
I've put the same boot-repair image on a USB stick using unetbootin and the laptop will boot off that fine in both UEFI mode and legacy.
The laptop DOES boot a Ubuntu 64bit DVD in UEFI (non-secure) mode.
I'd be happy to run some checks if that would be helpful. If it's a BOIS issue (InsydeH2O) I will need detailed info to approach HP with.
[Used the 64bit version of boot-repair dated 2013-05-08 (MD5 sum ending ...19905)]
(PS Linux-secure-remix also will not boot (off a DVD) in non-legacy mode (64 bit version) on the same laptop).

Thanks for your report.
Boot-Repair-Disk is based on Lubuntu13.04. Please could you try to boot in UEFI on a Lubuntu13.04-64bit DVD ? and USB ?
