jump to first search result when search url used without explicit page

Bug Description

Jump to the first search result when a search is specified in the URL without an explicit landing page. Since the search may take some time to complete it may make sense to load to the default page then flip to the first result once the result comes back.

Calling gb.search before we're fully loaded causes an exception.
