when flipping, the gutter line appears too early

Bug Description
the gutter line for the page you are flipping too appears when the flip starts rather than when the page goes past the 1/2 way point. this is an issue when flipping a large number of pages and slowly. this is an issue when the auto-play flips from the back of the book to the beginning.
not a high priority.
