Bug Description

The output screen doesn't mention the ~/.config/chromium/Default/Preferences file that the search engines are stored in, but clearing the history removes them. Running the latest version (0.8.5) on Arch Linux i686

Thank you for the report.

I do not see /Default/Preferences in chromium.xml. Do you maybe mean the keywords table in the file ~/.config/chromium/Default/Web Data? Try removing that line from chromium.xml or whitelisting that file through the BleachBit preferences, and try again.

(If you want, you can backup your Chromium profile by copying ~/.config/chromium.)
