Starts with blank window when not first user

The program starts up but the window is blank. No error messages. No text when started from terminal. But I only have this problem if running as another user. If I run it while logged in as the first user, it works just swell.

Running Ubuntu 10.10 32 bit on AMD.

After installing Blacklight, i had libfaac trouble and ran scripts from here to clear it up (not sure this matters): http://code.google.com/p/x264-ffmpeg-up-to-date/

Tried making one of the other users an administrator but that did not help.

I will attempt to attach a screenshot of the trouble.

PS. It does not seem to make a difference if there is a Walkman connected or not.
