Bug Description

After starting bIRC 0.3-r77 in GNOME-Terminal 2.30.2 (Debian 6.0.4 squeeze, Kernel 2.6.32-5-amd64, GNOME 2.30.2) the client gets stuck displaying the command usage. Joining and parting rooms as well as writing messages works, but an userlist and the written or recieved messages are not displayed (See screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/hv55m.png).

Thanks for the report.

The log seems normal, I assume you typed "/w CHANNEL" instead of /w 0-9:CHANNEL wich is why you could join but not get it displayed, a fix is already in the newer development releases.

I recommend rev 99 for its currently being stripped and it'll be the future release version.

If you dont want any voodoo-code running, you can also uncomment lines 287 to 307 and also the single lines 254 and 285.
with that you revert the auto-splitscreen activating the switch triggered by "/set split 0" for deactivate and "/set split 1" for activate, default value is ACTIVATED.
