Bug Description

Confirmed in tests using backportpackage tool that this package appears to backport cleanly with no need to change anything.

packages that depend on the library (according to ldd) link to: (on amd64 platform):

      /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libetpan.so.20

which is a symlink to the appropriate base file - so compatibility of library path should not be an issue.

Changes between version 1.8.0-1 (currently in Bionic) to 1.9.3-1 are admittedly a bit foggy - the upstream author doesn't elucidate much on the changelogs but in chronological order:

 - Fixes for GnuTLS
 - Various bug fixes (no details given)
 - Support of TLS SNI
 - LMDB for cache DB
 - Added IMAP CLIENTID / SMTP CLIENTID support
 - Use Cyrus SASL 2.1.27

I wish this package to be backported as I have upcoming projects that I wish to run on this platform, and possibly Ubuntu 16.04 as well (future backport request) that require SMTP and IMAP CLIENTID support.

Forgot to mention as well: package(s) created by backportpackage are able to install without issue. Software that depends on the library file : claws-mail - was tested directly and confirmed to function without issue.

Unfortunately I am not certain how to test 'cairo-dock-mail-plug-in' which also links to the library file...
