Bug Description
I've recently install Ubuntu 12.04 64bits.
I've followed the bio-linux instructions in the nebc webpage. My instructions were for this: "You can install our software packages onto a pre-existing Ubuntu system".
I've added the repositories in Ubuntu Software Center: Software sources>Other software. I'm in USA so I used the ibiblio repository.
I've did: "sudo apt-get update"
But I have a report like this: "W: Failed to fetch http://
it continues: "E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead."
After this I install the keyring package and I tried again the "sudo apt-get update" but the same result was obtained.
Any solutions, thanks.

Hi,
You've added a line to sources.list something like:
"deb-src http:// distro. ibiblio. org/bio- linux/packages/ unstable bio-linux"
This tells APT to look for a Sources file on this server, but there is no such file. Please re-check the instructions and add only the three lines shown on the web page.
Cheers,
TIM
