Plasmashell Freeze

Hello,
First of all i enjoy your software compare to the one i was using before"Knotes".
But, there is a little annoying things with Basket since very often when i write a note my "task bar"
 Plasmashell freeze for 2 or 3 minutes.
I'm using Kubuntu 16.04 with :
Blocs notes BasKet
Version 2.10-beta
Utilisation de la plate-forme de développement de KDE 4.14.16

I see nothing in the log particular to this problem!

Unfortunately I could not reproduce this. Can you elaborate on how "taskbar freeze" looks like? are you unable to switch the tasks by clicking the mouse? Do you observe the same behavior if you run amarok for example?

This might be an issue with plasmashell. If you would like to investigate, you could gather performance profile to see what happens during the freeze:

sudo apt install valgrind plasma-workspace-dbg

mkdir ~/plasmashell
cd ~/plasmashell
kbuildsycoca5 && kquitapp5 plasmashell && kstart5 valgrind --tool=callgrind plasmashell #(restart of plasmashell will take time)

Now you need to compress and upload the ~/plasmashell folder so that we can have a look.

Another option is to build and install version 2.49a which is made for plasma 5.
