Unable to use the Miro plugin in Banshee

Bug Description
I am currently running Banshee 1.8.0 and would like to use the Miro plugin. When I click the download button to download the feed, I get an error box, which reports "Downloading not yet implemented" followed by the URL of the feed. If I install MIRO via the Ubuntu Software Centre, it works perfectly, so I can only assume that the bug is Banshee related.
I am running Ubuntu 10.10 (64 bit version).

This bug is still present in Ubuntu 12.04.1 (banshee 2.4.1-3ubuntu1~
