Firefox & Thunderbird with multiple icons shown in Plank dock after update

Hi there,

On each update of Firefox & Thunderbird (will need to test further applications), BAMF is no longer able to match the applications to their desktop file.

This results in multiple Firefox/Thunderbird icons being shown in for instance Plank dock which uses the desktop files to display icons in its dock.

Closing and reopening the user session fixes the issue.

I am not the only user affected. Another Arch Linux user could confirm the issue [1].

Do you have any ideas why BAMF is not able to match the desktop files on an update?
