Bug Description

Binary package hint: zope-cachefu

Please sync zope-cachefu 1.1.1 from Debian unstable/testing - according to release notes there are lots of bug fixes + some new features (see http://plone.org/products/cachefu/releases/1.1.1 ):

New Features in CacheFu 1.1.1

    * New improved proxy cache configs for Squid, Varnish, and Apache (yes, Apache can be used as a proxy cache server -- although it doesn't support PURGE requests). Look in the 'cachefu-proxy-configs' folder for more information.
    * Added an VirtualHostMonster 'inside-out' example to the custom rewritePurgeUrls script. The rewritePurgeUrls script is found in the 'cache_setup' skins folder.
    * Added support for 'stale-while-revalidate' and 'stale-if-error'. See http://www.mnot.net/blog/2007/12/12/stale
    * Added kss registry to resource cache rule.
    * Added a cache rule for RSS feeds.
    * Lots of bug fixes.

Ubuntu hardy is on feature freeze.

If you want to make a case for getting this package into hardy you need to follow the feature freeze exception process.

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/FeatureFreeze

Otherwise it will be auto-synced into intrepid as part of the development process.

Problem is, that zope-cachefu package in Ubuntu Hardy doesn't work at all - zope-cachefu 1.1-1 package doesn't contain any program files - only documentation in /usr/share/doc and .dzproduct text files :(

look at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=457517

This is a critical bug in zope-cachefu 1.1-1 package, so, you must remove this package from Ubuntu 8.04 LTS or fix it ASAP.
