Bug Description
Binary package hint: totem
"Movie Player" is a misleading title for the default audio file player. Perhaps it should be named "Media Player". Or maybe the default should have two separate aliases, one for "Movie Player" and one for "Music Player". That way an individual can more easily change the default application for music, without having to deal with the default movie player.

Thank you for your bug. That's an upstream decision. The music player is rhythmbox. If you disagree with that you should open a bug on bugzilla.gnome.org we are not going to change it in a distribution specific way
