Bug Description
Binary package hint: dvdrip
While dvd::rip shows up under the Multimedia menu in KDE there is no icon for it. Interestingly there is an icon in Gnome for dvd::rip. I have noticed this on Feisty Fawn using dvd::rip version 0.98.2-0.0ubuntu1.

ho hum,
desktop- file-validate dvdrip.desktop
says that it is a valid .desktop file..
does /usr/share/ pixmaps/ dvdrip. svg exist for you?
It is possible that KDE's menu can not render svg icons, Gnome's one does.
