Binary package hint: gdm
WIth the default Unity desktop for Ubuntu 11.4 there will only be one system bar which is placed on the top of the screen. The bar on the bottom will only be available for users of the Classic Gnome interface.
The GDM bar (with the list for the sessions and the shutdown button) should therefore moved to the top of the screen to offer a coherent boot experience.
And it should be turned into a black bar to match the Unity one. Again for the sake of coherence between the standard desktop look and the standard GDM look.
It shouldn't require too much computer science therefore I plan to nominate it for the papercut project. |
