Memory leak in twistd when running firefox & nanny

This happened in Lucid as well. If left unattended, all ram (1GB on this Compaq D310 2.4GHz system) and all swap will be used up in a matter of minutes. According to System Monitor, the process with the leak is twistd.
The installation was made using wubi.
My laptop suffers the same fate with Lucid (the dependencies are compatible if using maverick's nanny). This is a 2.6GHz Celeron with Intel i8 graphics and suffers from kslowd wrecking video & audio playback if I install maverick. It's a dual boot system.

I can confirm this. I caught twistd growing to 6.3GB.

New stable version of Nanny - 2.31.1 was released at 2011 January, maybe new version would fix this bug?

I don't use firefox but I came here to say that Nanny and twistd are eating up 2G of my memory! Restarting the service frees the memory. I'm still on Ubuntu Maverick.
