Bug Description
I have old laptop COMPAQ Presario M2000, and I dont see the led (blue one) on the key wireless, when its on or off. Its also would be nice if there will be a notification such as Notify "Wireless disabled", "Wireless Enabled"
Using Baltix GNU/Linux 2008.11

same problem with xubuntu on hp compaq presario a900
the wi-fi light is always orange instead of blue when wi-fi is enabled
