Bug Description

I like the way BIT keeps backups in comparison with most other backup tools, so I run it on my headless storage server.

However, there is no documentation for the format of the BIT configuration file. I have had to look at the configuration file for my desktop computer, and infer what I should put in the configuration file for the headless server.

Other applications I use, such as OfflineIMAP, include a stub/example configuration file in the docs installed with the package (e.g. http://github.com/jgoerzen/offlineimap/blob/master/offlineimap.conf, installed at /usr/share/doc/…/examples/…). This would be useful to have for BIT.

OK, I'll try to document config file entries. But only starting from 1.0 since from this version entries sould be more stable.

I don't think this is fixed yet.

@tracy, please assign bugs to yourself only when you are working on them.
