BiT 0.9.99.37 don't want to do backup

BiT run and end with the message "Done, no backup needed". I tried a new profile with the same result.

I removed config/backintime folder and I re-tried. It asked me to convert old backup to the new format, I did not accept it. I renamed existing backintime backup folder and then I tried again : it run ok now !

If you don't accept to convert to the new format you can't other make new backups.

Ok, I understand it. However, the message "no backup needed" is not very clear, "no backup allowed" would be better.

Does not work anymore with Ubuntu 12.04. Message is "no backup needed" ("Fertig, kein Backup notwendig").

Well, comming back to my message above, Ubuntu 12.04 might not be the problem. I deleted ~/.local/backintime and then it worked. The files in this directory might have been corrupted.

The error message is completely misleading and should be changed.

And, the misleading error message is also when in "Settings -> Options -> Disable Snapshots when on Battery" is switched on.
