Bug Description
Unity/compiz allows you to maximize a window completely, or only horizontally or vertically. Title bar is hidden/put onto the panel only when maximized completely. To optimize the use of my screen, I'd like the title bar to be hidden as well on vertical maximize.
1) lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu precise (development branch)
Release: 12.04
2) apt-cache policy unity
unity:
Installed: 5.8.0-0ubuntu2
Candidate: 5.8.0-0ubuntu2
Version table:
*** 5.8.0-0ubuntu2 0

apt-cache policy compiz

3) When I maximize a window vertically (e.g. by middle-clicking the maximize button), I expect the title bar to be hidden, just as it is when completely maximizing (left-click button).
4) The window is maximized vertically, but the title bar remains in place, using up some of those very precious vertical pixels on my so-called widescreen laptop.
