Bug Description

OS: Ubuntu 12.04
Machine: Virtualbox
++++++++++++++++

I noticed the default lancher layout is not exactly well thought and neat: too many colors, too many icons and no consistency.

i attach a pdf with a simple comparison between the current lancher layout and what i believe could be a well designed default.

Thank you for reporting this bug. However, this is open for discussion in the Ayatana mailing list rather than here since it involves changes the default launcher icons and the launcher settings.

So please discuss this in the Ayantana mailing list. Until then it will be marked incomplete since it needs design input.

i can't find a way to subscribe to the ayatana mailing list as suggested above, but on the other hand i can't just wait and hope somebody notices how much the default laucher layout needs improvement!

if somebody who can post to the ayatana mailing list is interested in this as much as i am, please let me know, i will gladly explain my idea to them.
