Bug Description

Quite frankly this has been annoying since ... well since the dash outline first appeared.
It has those terrible looking 1px white line between the blurred region and the outline and between the line and the rest of the desktop. See this:
Now, I have this plan of making it better by removing the 1px white lines and adding blur to the outline. Here is a WiP screenshot (almost every white line is removed, but I still haven't added blur):
Small changes FTW, I just hope
Now I can this a lot better my plan is to remove white lines, add light-ish blur to the outline, so it can be distinguishable, also I can add a bit more outline dropshadow and some nice and smooth looking line on the outer side of the outline :)
So, should I tag myself to fix that or not?
P.S. I am tagging this one "needs-design", cuz it ... well needs a design call :)

Sigh, silly me, here is the WiP screenshot:

Yes, it surely needs design discussion.

BTW, there's one serious problem with your concept. I don't like the idea of a Clementine window remaining open in the background with Megadeth songs all the time when Unity is running. It won't be appropriate for the user, ahh well, nevermind.

Other than that, I like your concept. Much cleaner than the current implementation.

I will just be a good Mecho and won't say anything about Megadeth, however there indeed seems to be a distinct lack of Waterloo mentions :D
I will continue to improve this and just wait for the design call :) (will update with screenies regularly)
P.S. I am not sure if this will make in in P (upstream wise), cuz Unity is beyond UIf and if this should be UIfE :)
But anyway, if it's not there P, then it could be in Q :)
