Bug Description
When trying to run an application such as Wireshark, which requires root permissions to access ethernet interfaces, it is not possible to launch as root from the launcher or Dash. What would be good is the ability to right click on ANY application (not just those affected) and click "Run as root" which would prompt the user for the root password and run it as root. The user shouldn't be forced to open a terminal to do this.

I guess this would break design very badly, but I'm leaving the final word to the design team.
