Bug Description
On bug #785840, comment #6 Mark Shuttleworth requesting looking at whether the Dash could be made to work without the default icons are at all:
"Actually, I'd like to remove these [Unity Home Dash] icons altogether, and have a thin
search box only by default. Can we test that, please?
