highlight in alt-tab can be confusing

Bug Description
In some cases it could be rather slow for the user to tell from a glance at the alt-tab switcher to know which app have the focus. In the attached screenshot gnome-terminal icon seems to be highlighted as well.

If this is incomplete, what information is missing? I would suggest to place a shadow or lower the contrast of un-highlighted icons.
