Unity 4.12's Launcher shows only HDDs/DVDs/CDs/USB... but not FTP (and probably not SSH and others).
Desired solution:
- It should be possible add any virtual drive to the Launcher by searching for it in the 'Folder' category of the Dash File Lens, and drag and dropping it on to the Launcher.

- Virtual internet drives (FTP, SSH) should be treated as removable drives (see bug #713423) because internet connections can be transient, and connecting/disconnecting from the internet is effectively plugging in and unplugging the drive. |
