Bug Description

I compiled an application by hand. I wanted to drag the binary file from the folder in nautilus and drag it onto the launcher. I could not do that. I had to create a .desktop file by hand.

You should be able to drag applications onto the launcher from nautilus.

Perhaps there should also be an "add this application to the launcher" context menu item in nautilus.

Thank you for your bug report, that requires design input so setting the unity component to incomplete, one thing it could do is suggest creating a launcher when dnding a binary, the binary lacks infos like a title or an icon though...
