Bug Description
Binary package hint: unity
The icon is a magnifying lens with the + symbol. When I first saw that icon, I thought it was for zooming in. I wasn't able to connect its meaning to "application launcher" intuitively, without looking at a third-party website.

I too found this a horribly confusing choice of icon. I really had no idea what these icons were supposed to do until I stopped to read the tooltip.
