Bug Description

Binary package hint: unity

When I choose a theme that has the close, maximize and minimize buttons on the right, the new unity maximize behaviour does not respect the theme setting.

In any case the buttons are displayed on the left-hand side close, minimize, maximize.

My current theme setting is Unity (see screenshot)

As far as I know this is the design of Unity. I'll mark as opinion. Perhaps you can tag as "needs-design"

If I'm not wrong, the button location (always on left) and the buttons order are this way by design. The problem with different buttons is reported in bug #740232.

Tried to install other themes (e.g. Gnome-Themes) but can't either select them in appearance configuration in unity...
