Currently, the apps place has a section for "Most Frequently Used" applications. Since the purpose of the launcher is to give you quick access to your favorite/most frequently used applications (hence the "keep in launcher" feature), this is often redundant. In fact, most of the times there is not one single app under that section that I don't have pinned in my launcher.
What I suggest is, replace this with a "Recently Used" applications section. This is useful because while performing some tasks, on certain situations, you may need to repeatedly open an application that you don't use on a daily basis, and as such you wouldn't want to keep it in your launcher. Also, it would make it consistent with the files place. |
