Bug Description

I was thinking if you could move whole Unity experience a bit further, by moving all session confirmation dialogs to special dash layer. I am talking about shutdown/restart/logout/switch user/suspend/hibernate etc... which are currently displaying old gnome style confirmation windows. But if Unity would nicely fade entire screen and show custom confirmation dialog, that would be awesome. And for all those various session icons they could be monochrome like panel icons or black/white like lenses icons in main dash :)

Not a bad idea. Needs design discussion, and hence will miss out the Maverick cycle. Tagging appropriately.

Proposed behaviour:

1./ User click in indicator-session menu on Restart command or on something other like Logout, Shutdown...etc

2./ Instead of old style gnome confirmation dialogue will desktop fade away into some kind of dashboard layer (like when you launch Synaptic or something other what requires root privilegies)

3./ In this layer will be available options to proceed further and confirm your choice (or wait 60 seconds if you want) or cancel operation...

Currently are those dialogs using icons from active icon theme, but in dash they could have custom black/white icons like the lenses in dash...
