Switch workspace animation needs visual cue

Currently the overlay that pops up when switching workspaces (using Super-S) uses a glow to highlight the target workspace for the switch. However the glow breaks for many wallpapers which are somewhat monochromatic. A good example of a broken wallpaper is the wheat fields wallpaper with sun in background in the "contest" wall paper collection. In the case of this wallpaper and a few others, the hue is just too subtle, so some kind of overlay icon which highlights the currently active target would be nice.
