Bug Description

Binary package hint: unity

In the unity launcher, the only way to switch apps is using the keyboard shortcuts or a mouse click. A good way, implemented by existing launchers, is to use the mouse scroll to switch between the active apps. The mouse click method to switch apps is especially cumbersome when there are multiple documents open in the same app (for eg. evince).

A mouse scroll on the grouped app icon would switch between the documents, other wise, it would switch between all apps.

I love the Unity launcher, but i really miss this feature from docky, made too easy to change between windows of the same application.

That would conflict with the scrolling behaviour that happens now when there are a lot of elements in the launcher. Why not put all instances of the application in the top of the quicklist? That happened in Docky too, from what I remember.
