Bug Description

Binary package hint: unity

Referring to Bug #685861

If the intellihide behaviour was partially implemented then why not fully? If it disappears to the left, like other docks, when the mouse is sent to the left into the 'zone' it should show the launcher again. rather than having to go to the top.

it'd also be nice if the top left ubuntu icon would have been the first launcher icon rather. so that in maximised mode, the close, maximise buttons are in the corner. or atleast an ubuntu icon that is not so wide when an application is maximized. but i guess this one is not negotiable.

Having the left hand side reveal the launcher gives too many accidental reveals. It's very distracting.

at the moment it even stays open at times when it should not, no matter how many times you click on the application you are working in, so it is definitely more than distracting already. you've gotta click on the ubuntu icon on top twice to enable it and then get it to hide.
