Bug Description
Binary package hint: unity
Right now in Natty (Alpha 3 + daily build), it seems that when you click on the Ubuntu menu (upper left) or application/files dash buttons on Unity bar, you get:
a) full or partial screen dash, according to your screen resolution (sse this: http://
b) to open the dash, but with no obvious way to close it (except for the Ubuntu logo upper left menu, which appears to toggle between open/close dash when you clik on it since a few days).
My request/wish: to have more functional dash buttons, in order to be able to 1) open *and* close dash; and 2) to choose between full and partial screen (maybe using their contextual menu, or any other way... except by asking the user to go through a gconf-editor procedure).
Thanks.

It seem that it's possible to easily switch to full screen dash, but not the other way around.
See screenshot attached: In partial screen dash, there's an icon (sort of) at bottom right to switch to full screen dash, but this icon is not present in full screen dash to revert to partial screen. IMHO, this icon should also be present in full screen dash *and* last user choice should be remembered, so next time he/she'll probably get the preferred dash screen size.
