Bug Description

Like in docky. It should be useful for touch devices

Good idea but I suggest a different thing:
when I drag the icon out of the launcher should appear a trash icon in the center of the screen so I can't make mistakes.
If I just want to reorder the icons I'll drag up and down without thinking that I'm 3 pixels far from the launcher, if I want to remove the icon from the launcher what's more clear than a trash in the center of the screen?

I don't know. I think that the icon shouldbe removed form the launcher only if i drag it completely out from the launcher.

But also the idea of the trash at the center of the screen isn't bad.

Dragging an icon out of the launcher will show a popup menu:

Delete launcher
Create a X file depending on the launcher kind
Etc.

@alessio

i don't think is a good idea.

My goal was to make a simple and fast way to remove icons, your way is too complicated.
