Hidden global menu is not discoverable

In Unity, the menu is moved out to the top of the screen, hidden behind the window title / application name. This makes it difficult to discover. The obvious solution would be to have the menu next to the window title, but maybe there is a better solution. Maybe a few animated switches between title and menu on application startup could raise awareness of the global menu feature.

Application menu looks kinda strange and is hard to find it because is always hidden and visible only on mouseover. Please unhide application menu and make it always visible like on Mac. It looks better and more professional like current default. It may confuse users when they will see no menus and begin to seach for alternative application settings.

This is not a duplicate of bug 682788, which is about adding options for visibility and position. Adding options would not make it more discoverable, because finding the options would be an order of magnitude more difficult than finding the menus in the first place.
