Bug Description

In the library the colums are not in right order (Track-Title-Genre(!!!)-Artist-Album-Time, it would be nicer in this order Track-Title-Artist-Album-Genre-Time)
In addition a tool to set the position would be nice...

Yes! I would like this feature as well. It would be nice to drag-and-drop the columns to an order you prefer or be able to change them in Edit > Preferences. Please add this feature in a future release.

Thanks for the patch, Chris. Worked fine for me. I've filled in the patch headers, added a changelog entry, and proposed the result for merging (https://code.launchpad.net/~serge-hallyn/ubuntu/precise/rhythmbox/rhythmbox-sort/+merge/95646).

Thanks again.

Thanks for your work, I'm not convinced the order is currently wrong and I would like to set design input, unsubscribing sponsors until that happens

It would be even better in this order: Title->Album->Artist->Genre (album between title and artist), so it goes from the most specific to the most generic.

What sort of retard wants things
Title>Artist?
For fooks sake SORT THIS CRAP OUT!

TRACKNUMBER->ARTIST->TRACKLENGTH

Is it REALLY that bloody difficult to code things for drag & drop column arragement? Well obviously for the n00bz who develop Rhythmbox, the answer is 'yes'.

So, stop wasting time with useless plugins that two people use and give this app some proper, competent and intelligent functionality!

I'm going to close this bug since it would be fixed for free with the implementation of Drag 'n' Drop column ordering, bug #36413
