2016-12-05 14:35:11 Guus description The switcher as supplied by the Ubuntu Unity Plugin controls how a user "alt-tabs" through active applications. It's default behavior is to cycle through 'groups' of application windows (as opposed to cycle through all application windows). This behavior is distinctly different from other switcher implementations. If a user prefers more traditional, "ungrouped" behavior from the switcher, there currently is no good alternative other than using CCSM to disable the Switcher from the Ubuntu Unity Plugin (and activate the Windows Management > Application Switcher instead). In order to allow users to continue the use of the Ubuntu Unity Plugin Switcher, a new option should be added, that control the 'grouping' behavior of the Switcher. This allows users that are otherwise happy with the project to continue working with the Ubuntu Unity Plugin Switcher.
