I'm developer and using Ubuntu Unity (currently 12.10) at work. I prefer portrait orientation of my monitors because then I can see more lines of spegetti code. Everything seems to work fine in Ubuntu Unity except welcome screen (where I have to select user and enter password) which always shown in landscape mode. It seems that there's no way to rotate this screen into portrait mode. |
