bad application switching in workspace switcher

When I click on an application icon in the launcher while I am in the workspace switcher view, it brings me back to the desktop that is selected (not to the application I clicked on)

In 12.04, the application I clicked on came to the foreground on the workspace it was on. This was very handy to organize the windows on the workspaces. Even if this behaviour is not wished anymore, clicking on an application icon should bring one to the application that was clicked on.
