Bug Description
Hello,
I find that "Recently used Applications" category in Application Lens is much of a duplication, and, above all, a waste of vertical space, of the very same category we find into Dash Home.
Usually I launch a recent app simply by hitting the Super key, not by combining it with the "a" key.
In other words I'm pretty convinced that people launch recently used apps from Dash Home and not from Apps Lens.
So removing it sounds correct to me.
In this way we will find more space to discover installed and available apps from Apps Lens.
Thanks for your attention,
alex

With the advent of the Smart Scopes, it's possible to just unselect the 'local applications' source in the filters pane, and recently used applications will not be displayed in the Applications lens.
Smart Scopes are available in Unity 7.1 and later.
