Bug Description
Having configured several keyboard shortcuts for manipulating windows around (by invoking custom scripts), I realized that shortcuts do not register repeated key presses. This means that pressing and holding a shortcut key combination for some period of time does not cause the expected effect of a repeating key press, as with ordinary (non-shortcut) keys. This largely limits the usability of shortcuts for certain purposes, e.g. moving windows around and resizing them. This behavior is different from the shortcut implementation in Gnome 2.3, where shortcuts do emit a repeating key press effect similar to ordinary (non-shortcut) keys.
My system: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
