Bug Description

"System Settings > Appearance" or "System Settings > Details > Graphics" should have a switch to force Unity to run in the low graphics mode. This can be very beneficial for computers which have decent enough GPU power to avoid running on LLVMpipe but still can't handle all the blur and transparency smoothly in every scenario. Also, people can just turn it on when running low on battery to save power.

Thank you for your bug report, that's not something that seems like worth cluttering the ui about though, the system should do the right thing and fallback by itself if the config is not powerful enough to run in full effects
