Grouped windows titles overlap due to horizontal layout

Bug Description

(Fedora15 x64_64 ; awn 0.4.1 bzr830 ; Gnome shell 3.0.2 ; nvidia 275.09.07)

Regression :
After upgrading from awn 0.4.0 to 0.4.1, the layout of the grouped window list has changed from a vertical list to a horizontal list. This results in list titles overlapping each other, rendering the titles unreadable (see attached screenshots) and hence the window list unusable.
Downgrading to 0.4.0 fixes this issue.

I compared the 0.4.0/0.4.1 code (e.g. applets/taskmanager/task-window.c), but not being a Gnome/C coder, I was unable to find the culprit.

Please open a terminal and run

killall gconfd-2

then restart awn. Does that resolve the issue?

Unfortunately, "killall gconfd-2" does not resolve the issue.

If required, I can recompile awn with debug flags, extra debugging output or whatever, if provided with e.g. a .diff.

Any hint to where I should start comparing 0.4.0/0.4.1 code to hunt the regression down ?

Could you check whether this bug still occurs in the testing packages of this PPA: https://launchpad.net/~p12/+archive/awn ?

Thanks!

Dear Povilas,
Thanks for the update.

Running Gnome 3 with an assortment of extensions for quite a while, I have since abandoned AWN and am hence unable to test.
